Reopening the Wormhole is a weekly podcast in which three Deep Space Nine obsessives tackle a randomly selected episode from the series and analyze all the things they love and hate about it. Each week, they'll try to determine the funniest lines out of context, deliver their very official review scores and much more! Make sure to stick around until the end, so you don't miss it when they spin the Dabo wheel to reveal next week's episode!

With Hollow Man and the Winter of Star Trek (& Our Discontent) over, the boys have re-materialized and are ready to talk DS9 yet again, and they’re so excited about it. And how could they not be? Worf and Dax are BACK! And they’re having one of their best episodes ever here. On a daring rescue mission to save a Cardassian defector, Jadzia gets shot in the jungle of Soukara, and Worf has to make some tough decisions. It’s an unforgettable episode with a few bizarre touches you may have forgotten, such as the attitude of the Cardassian defector, Worf’s evolving demeanor, and a delightful B story about our other favorite couple, Miles & Julian. Along the way, there will be another odd diversion into the Flintstones extended universe (Flintoverse), superhuman Bashir’s failure to overcome superferengi Quark’s tricks, Sam's slowly-dying voice, and far more forays into Star Trek: Discovery discussion than the hosts or (probably) the listeners are interested in. Just like a bit o' the old laryngitis didn't stop Sam from recording this episode, don't let the sound of a crackly-voiced nerd stop you from enjoying the discussion!
