Reopening the Wormhole is a weekly podcast in which three Deep Space Nine obsessives tackle a randomly selected episode from the series and analyze all the things they love and hate about it. Each week, they'll try to determine the funniest lines out of context, deliver their very official review scores and much more! Make sure to stick around until the end, so you don't miss it when they spin the Dabo wheel to reveal next week's episode!

Featuring Jack Stovold, Sam Stovold and Kevin Young

The death of a somewhat prominent side character in a show is almost always difficult, and in this week’s episode, we see Kira’s beloved Bareil go from being on Life Support, to being on Life-less Non-support. It’s a struggle that yet again reveals the depths of Winn’s selfishness, as well as Bareil’s passion for Bajor. Meanwhile, Nog & Jake pop up to add a completely inappropriate b-story. Sam, Jack, and Kevin head to Dr. Bashir’s Laboratory to discuss the wide disparity between the two stories, Winn’s hate-ability, Nog’s shockingly terrible behavior, the real 20th century opera Nixon in China, the dish inspired by Winn, and plenty of great subjects thanks to an old listener email that didn’t make it into last week’s mailbag episode; plus, some new music and a new Rappin Jake Sisko verse about his horrible double date with Nog! So come pay a quick visit to Dr. Bashir’s Laboratory, where we’ve got all the DS9 discussion you could ever need, at an affordable price!
