When an unfamiliar people fleeing their war torn home make their way through the wormhole looking for sanctuary and are met with resistance due to their strange language, appearance and beliefs, it’s hard not to draw certain parallels with the world today and to reflect on some of the important issues facing us now. What is it that can drive men to hate others simply for their differences? How much of our home are we willing and able to sacrifice for the betterment of others that are suffering and what kind of moral obligation do we have to do so? What exactly ARE the names of all the bosses in Mortal Kombat 1-3? Our good friend Tyler Neufeld (aka Barm) rejoins us to tackle these questions and a lot of other really stupid questions this week for season two’s Sanctuary! The wine may have finally stopped flowing, but that hasn’t stopped us from being ridiculous!
