Reopening the Wormhole is a weekly podcast in which three Deep Space Nine obsessives tackle a randomly selected episode from the series and analyze all the things they love and hate about it. Each week, they'll try to determine the funniest lines out of context, deliver their very official review scores and much more! Make sure to stick around until the end, so you don't miss it when they spin the Dabo wheel to reveal next week's episode!

It’s the 50th Anniversary of Star Trek! In order to celebrate, we’re going way back to the very beginning. The very, VERY beginning! We’re talking Christopher Pike, Talos IV, an alternate Enterprise and a smiling Spock... that’s right, we’re talking about the original rejected Star Trek pilot from 1966, The Cage! Not only that, but we’re going to be looking into each and every Star Trek show so far and talking about some of our favorite (or least favorite) things about them and looking towards the future of Star Trek, in Discovery! Along the way, we’ll be talking about Uganda, the ways that The Cage succeeds or fails as a TV pilot, our deep, deep love for Jean-Luc Picard, the Planet of the Apes franchise and the most boring trainwreck ever! So, boldly go with us, as we lovingly reopen a wormhole into 50 years of Star Trek history!
